The approval of legendary aquatic explorer Jacques Cousteau is all a dive watch should really need to be wildly successful. But the divers produced by Doxa — and the brand itself — have flown under the radar, never reaching the heights of the Submariner, Seamaster, or even the niche-but-growing-in-popularity Super Seawolf. Which is a shame: Doxa’s dive watches boast some serious specs. Creating the preferred watch of the inventor of the first scuba system is enough reason to pay attention to Doxa. But with the new Doxa Sub 200T, Doxa reminds us that even without the Cousteau stamp of approval their watches would make a strong case for purchase.
